But it’s just a mode of being and like anything that gets to be a groove in our brains we can derail that trajectory by taking chances even if the can disrupt the delicate balance we’ve built in our lives. Sweet Tempest with its swarm of gently uplifting melodies suggests to us as delicately as possible that emotional complacency may be comfortable in its way but it isn’t as satisfying as genuine connection.
